ChunkSquad respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. §512). If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a takedown notice to our designated agent below.

What your notice must include
To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following (substantially):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g. the URL).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
What happens after you send a notice
We'll review and, if the notice appears valid, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. We'll forward your notice to the uploader and may take further action on their account (warning or suspension under our repeat-infringer policy).
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@chunksquad.com with the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, the Northern District of California).
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.
Repeat infringers
We will terminate accounts that, in our judgment, are repeat infringers.
False notices
Under the DMCA, you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) if you knowingly materially misrepresent that content is infringing or was removed in error. Please consult an attorney before submitting a notice or counter-notice if you have any doubt.
