Terms of Service

By accessing or using ChunkSquad (the "Service"), operated by ChunkSquad ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us at security@chunksquad.com of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or defame others.
• Post unlawful, infringing, sexually explicit, or hateful content.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Distribute malware, exploit code, or spam through the forum, comments, or any user-facing surface.
• Use the Service to organize or promote real-world harm, including against game-server communities.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (text, images, board data). By posting, you grant ChunkSquad a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and create derivative works of that content solely as necessary to operate the Service (including thumbnails, OG cards, search indexing, backups, and embedding).

You represent that you have the right to post the content you submit, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

ChunkSquad is an independent planning tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang AB, Microsoft, or the publishers of any other games mentioned on the Service. We do not distribute game assets, modify game clients, or facilitate game piracy. Game names and trademarks are property of their respective owners.

ChunkSquad respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, see our DMCA / Copyright Policy for our designated agent and takedown process.

You may close your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any violation of these Terms or where required by law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CHUNKSQUAD BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify and hold ChunkSquad harmless from any claim arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will provide notice (in-app banner or email). Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue lie in the state and federal courts of San Francisco County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
